Skin care is a complex process that requires adjustment of care products for particular skin type and the problems we face. Not every product will be suitable, for example for acne, sallow, irritated or skin with broken capillaries. Fortunately, there is one natural product that works well when it comes to such issues – parsley water! What’s in this method of care?
Parsley water is a cosmetic, which for generations has been very popular, but only recently online forums began talking about it. We do not encounter it at the drugstore, but can do it ourselves at home. This is a huge advantage, because homemade cosmetics mean: saving money, safe formula and a selection of only natural ingredients. Women love the preparation made of parsley also for its positive effects on the skin.
Parsley water is a cosmetic that works perfectly for problems with discolouration and shallowly embedded blood vessels that are visible on the skin. Natural extracts of parsley are a source of micronutrients, and especially vitamin C, which is a very strong antioxidant. Homemade parsley water can successfully replace toner, because it shows multi-dimensional effects, especially:
- Visibly reduces discolouration
- Effectively cleanses the skin
- Evens skin tone
- Prevents formation of acne
- Prevents capillaries from braking
- Eliminates the so-called spider veins on the face
- Prevents formation of fine lines
- Effectively softens and smooths the skin
Preparing such mixture at home is not difficult and requires only two ingredients – clean water and fresh parsley. A bunch of chopped parsley should be placed in a glass jar or stone dish. Then, pour 150 ml of clean (preferably filtered) water. Cover the jar and leave aside for at least 12 hours. Next, after the desired period of time, strain water from the leaves. Your rejuvenating blend is ready. We use it instead of a traditional toner to tone face in the morning and in the evening. Make sure that in the evening, your skin in thoroughly cleansed before applying parsley water. Simply use a cotton pad or spray with an atomiser.
