How to avoid cake face? Use these products with caution

Do you apply too thick layer of your foundation? Your face does not look natural and beautiful. Unfortunately, many women have troubles with choosing the correct shade or applying the product. When it comes to a liquid cosmetic, a half of the pump is more than enough. Products of different consistency you can mix with a drop of moisturising face cream or make-up base. Too much powder on the face also creates unnatural effect. Especially if the powder has a shade (is not translucent) or provides mattifying finish. Remember that a thick layer of the product will make you look older. What is more, it can also clog pores and prevent proper functioning of the skin. If your skin has the tendency to oil, use mattifying papers that will gather excess sebum. Next, powder you nose, cheeks, forehead and chin.
Too much highlighter provides unnatural effects. What is the result? Your complexion will look greasy. People who never had anything to do with stobing – contouring face by highlighting – should no to this make-up on their own. Do you know how to correctly apply highlighter? Using a soft brush apply a small amount of the cosmetic on your cheek bones, cupid’s bow, ridge of the nose, and upper eyelids. Match the shade of the cosmetic to your skin type.
Thick layer of mascara not only looks unaesthetic but also can damage eyelashes and cause irritation. If you want your eyes to look beautiful, it is enough to use extending, thickening and curling mascara. Remember to wait a little for the first layer to dry and then apply the second one. Make sure that both layers are thin.
